WE CURRENTLY RECYCLE OVER 60 TONNES OF PAPER AND BOARD PER YEAR.
Reducing and recycling
100% of our waste paper is taken away for recycling locally (currently about 60 tons per year). What little plastic and glass we use is also recycled (certificates available from our waste managers). Toner cartridges are returned for reuse, as is the aluminium used to make the printing press plates.
We endeavour not to use CDs. Jobs are either emailed, FTP’d or transferred on memory stick.
From paper to ink to tea bags we try to buy in bulk – reducing packaging and transport costs.
Energy efficient light bulbs are used throughout.
